Chris Walls |
Chris Walls is Director of Strategic Operations and Planning at CMX, and advises multinational businesses on commercial strategy, deal structuring, and project financing in the Oil and Gas and Metals and Mining sectors. Mr Walls has more than fifteen years of global business experience, has worked with a diverse range of clients including state-owned companies and government agencies, and has provided business counselling to numerous start-up companies. In West Africa, he assisted in the negotiation of Mineral Development Agreements for mining ventures, advised clients on Production Sharing Agreements and the impact on contracting parties, and designed and developed United Nations Kimberley Process compliance programmes for West African governments. In the United States, Mr Walls has advised clients on downstream ventures with international oil companies. Mr Walls previously worked for Shell Oil, holding multiple downstream positions focused on financial and strategic planning, and operations management. He received an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, in 2002.
